Too Far

By The Rock Of My Salvation

Does God seem too far away?
Do you sometimes feel alone and say…
Where are you Lord? I can’t feel You
.
Have You forgotten me?

Your Father in Heaven is telling you now…

My Child, you were the one who drifted away from Me.
I never left the throne.
I am still on the same spot when you left.
Still in the same place when you decided to go on your own.

You were the one who was too busy to talk to Me.
Too busy to pray, to worship, to know My will..
Too busy to ask for directions and confirmation for the decisions you make.
You were too busy to ask for help and seek My advice.

All My time and attention was offered freely to you. But you walked far away from Me.
You were the one who had no time for Me.
But I’m still here.
I never left. I never changed.
And until now, I’m still waiting for you to come back.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you” - James 4:8

“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves
those who are crushed in spirit.”

Psalm 34:18

Do You Trust God?

By The Rock Of My Salvation

ProblemsA person’s natural inclination is to want to know what’s ahead. Trusting God does not mean He will tell you what’s going to happen. It means you know you are safe with Him-no matter what happens.

You can take on the adventures God has planned because you know He is there to protect you. You can meet your troubles head-on because you know God will provide for you. Trust allows you to accept and appreciate all the surprises of life.

Trust is tested and proven by uncertainty. Jesus knows troubles will come, but He says you have a choice. You can choose not to allow your circumstances to trouble your heart because you trust Him.

“Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.”
