The Glorious Life

In the middle of your busy schedule, have you ever paused for a while and wondered…
Why did God create me? Why was I born and why am I living? What is God’s reason for giving me life?
Para lamang ba mag-trabaho? Magkaron ng sariling bahay, negosyo at pamilya hanggang sa pagtanda?
Is this the sole reason why God has given me life?

A. You were created for His glory
“I am the Lord your God…you are precious in My sight..
Everyone who is called by My name, and
whom I have created for My glory…“ -Isa 43:1,3-4,7
Glory-(definition)-the condition of highest achievement, splendor, prosperity -radiant beauty or splendor; magnificence
Can you see how awesome it is to know that we have been created for God’s glory?
That we are to live in such a way to give all creation a correct opinion of who God is.
What does that mean to you? How would you live if you were to live for His glory?
You are exactly as God designed you to be. And that design has a purpose.
And that purpose is to bring God glory.

B. You were created for His pleasure.
“For Thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. “ – Revelation 4:11
This is an eye-opener. A great thought for us to ponder on.
With all humility, can we honestly say that our lives give pleasure to God?
Does our daily life, attitudes, thoughts and deeds bring pleasure to our Creator?
The Word says, we were created for His glory and for His pleasure.
It means our life is to be lived in such a way as to reflect Him, to show the world the character of God- His peace, His mercy, His gentleness and His love.
We are to live for Him. To accomplish His will. To miss this is to miss fulfillment. It is to have existed rather than lived.
Now is the time we evaluate the course of our lives.
Are we fulfilling the purpose of our creation?
